Fixing for a Flatbread … (Sorry Domino’s, I cheated on you)

If you’re like me … and a lot of the world.. you crave pizza more often than you should and kicking that craving can be insanely difficult. Dominos is my JAM. Recently at a trip to Save-On-Foods I found a game changer  – Flat-out Flatbread. Unlike most other breads and doughs this one includes 7g of protein making this little cheat a lot better.

Flatbreads are a quick and delicious lunch or dinner meal that can be used to squeeze veggies & protein into your diet with ease. Here’s one of my favourite low calorie, low fat,  high protein recipes. Let me know if you try it & what you thought!

Spinach, Feta & ‘Pep’ Flatbread

250 Cal 8 Fat 27 Carb 16 Protien

1 – Flat-out Flatbread

1 tbs Franks Red Hot for ‘pizza sauce’

sprinkle of salt free garlic powder

1 cup of fresh spinach – microwave for 20 seconds prior

10 slices of turkey pepperoni

1/4 small onion sliced

1 tbs crushed feta

sprinkle of basil

Preheat the oven to 350F – once warmed place the flatbread on the oven rack for 3-5 minutes to prep the flatbread. After the flatbread has been prepped layer on ingredients in the order listed and then pop the flatbread back in the oven for another 4 minutes or until edges brown.
